Day 1 - Costa Smeralda, Dorgali

Arrival in Sardinia and departure to visit Costa Smerlada (Emerald coast) area with a stop in Porto Cervo known for the boutiques that display the latest trends, luxury hotels and villas designed by worldwide famous architects. Its port during the summer season is full of beautiful and expensive yachts. Costa Smeralda means also a ragged coast dotted with little beaches, transparent water, pristine nature and unforgettable perfumes. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then drive to Dorgali with a stop on the way to visit an archaeological site dating back to Bronze age called S’Ena e Thomes Giants’ tomb. Arrival in Dorgali for a wine testing at the local winery. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 - Bus and 4x4 experience for Cala Gonone and Supramonte area

Departure after breakfast to Cala Gonone. Visit by boat the famous Bue Marino's grottoes (monk seals' grotto) caracterized by stalactites and stalagmites whose entrance is possible only by boat. Light pic-nic at Su Gologone karst spring. Then visit the archaeological site of Sa sedda e Sos Carros (a nuragic complex) in Lanaittu valley by 4x4 cars. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 3 -  Nuoro and Orgosolo

In the morning visit the historical centre of Nuoro and the Museum of Costumes with a rich collection of the authentic objects. After proceed to Orgosolo for a lunch with the shepherds that is prepared only with delicious local products. Visit Orgosolo famous for its economy that is still based on livestock. Admire the murales painted on the walls of the private houses. The painting  were first created at the end of the 60's by Francesco Del Casino as a local protest and even nowadays they are the means how to point out the present events which distress the entire world. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4 - Across Barbagia and Sarcidano region

Departure after breakfast to visit Barbagia region. Stop at Tonara to visit a nougat (torrone) workshop. Sardinian nougat is a delicacy with honey instead of sugar. Continue across Belvì and Aritzo and stop for lunch in a restaurant in Laconi. Carry on up to the agricultural area of Orroli where a visit to the huge Arrubiu nuragic village that dates back to the Bronze age is a must. Arrival at the hotel in Cagliari for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Cagliari and Nora

The day is dedicated to the visit of Cagliari - the largest and most important town of the island. Walking tour in Castello district with a visit to the archaeological museum and Santa Maria's Cathedral. In the afternoon visit to the fascinating ruins of the ancient town of Nora which lie along the sea shore. Return to Cagliari for a special dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Villamassargia and Iglesias

After breakfast visit a traditional weaving workshop in Villamassargia and proceed to Iglesias that still shows parts of its medieval walls. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon proceed to the coast to the mining village of Nebida and admire the fascinating location of the natural monument called Pan di Zucchero. Some free time according to your time of departure.
