Day 1 - Olbia and Costa Smeralda

Arrival in Sardinia, meet your local tourist guide and enjoy a welcome drink in a special venue with Vermentino D.O.C.G. wine, a delicious white wine produced only in Gallura region. Lunch in a traditional Gallura restaurant with fregola (a kind of pasta) and local mussels bred in the Gulf of Olbia. In the afternoon visit Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo. Dinner in a typical restaurant in Arzachena area which is famous for its culinary specialities - zuppa quata. Overnight in Olbia.

Day 2 - Nuoro and Su Gologone in Oliena

Departure after breakfast to visit Su Gologone karst spring and Su Gologone hotel with its workshops. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Su Gologone restaurant where every product is still prepared, cooked and served according to the local tradition. Of course Culurgionis (a filled pasta with cheese and potatoes)  is a must while roasted juicy meat with ricotta mustia (seasoned ricotta) and fresh tomatoes as a side dish are just some of the perfumed specialties waiting for you. Nepente cannonau red local wine is our suggestion to experience your meal best. During the afternoon visit the Museum of Costumes in Nuoro. Dinner in a local restaurant in Nuoro where a real traditional homemade "minestrone"  is prepared with the best seasonal vegetables. Overnight in hotel in Nuoro.

Day 3 - Mamoiada, Orgosolo and lunch with shepherds

After breakfast drive to Mamoiada to the Museum of the Mediterranean masks. After a visit to its beautiful Museum with mysterious carnival masks made of wood enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery. Then carry on to Orgosolo for a folkloric lunch outdoor with the shepherds. The menu includes only homemade traditional products including 2 types of bread (carasau and spianata), boiled sheep with potatoes and onion, roasted suckling piglet, pecorino cheese, salted cottage cheese, cannonau wine and file e ferru (local spirit). Walking guided visit of Orgosolo famous for its painting which show evident dissent towards many contemporary matters. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Nuoro.

Day 4 - Losa Nuragic village, Tharros and Oristano

The day is dedicated to the visit of Losa Nuragic monument and Tharros. Visit the remains of the Carthaginian and Roman town of Tharros before savour a gourmet lunch in Cabras region based on fish menu.  Only fresh fish of the day is served and the menu is always a surprise - it depends on what the local fishermen bring from the sea in the morning. In any case taste bottarga - a delicious local speciality: dry mullet's eggs. Bottarga is served with fresh pasta or some kinds of vegetables as well as with ricotta cheese. Short visit to Oristano central area then dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 5 - Fordongianus and Oristano

In the morning drive to Fordongianus that used to be the Roman Imperor’s main town in Sardinia, for a relaxing morning in the local modern spa. Lunch in a restaurant to enjoy the quality of the local meat and rice with wild asparagus or other local products according to the season, like pumpkins or artichokes. In the afternoon tasting of Vernaccia di Oristano D.O.C. wine and local sweets called. Vernaccia is a wine that is really finding its place among the best known wines like Porto, Madera and Sherry. Dinner and overnight back in Oristano.

Day 6 - Oristano, Bonarcado and S'Archittu

In the morning visit a pottery workshop in Oristano and a Romanesque church in Bonarcado. Have a gourmet lunch seasoned with the delicious olive oil produced exclusively with Sardinian olives and savour handmade pasta with Sardinian saffron. During the afternoon some walking along the limestone coast in S'Archittu. Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Oristano.

Day 7 - Alghero or Cagliari or Olbia

After breakfast in the hotel visit the town of your departure: Olbia, Alghero or Cagliari. Wine tasting with local products at lunch time. Free time according to your scheduled flight.
