Day 1 - Friday 28th April 2023 - Cagliari and Nora

Arrival in Cagliari and panoramic tour by bus to Mount Urpino. Lunch on your own. During the afternoon drive along the Southern part of Cagliari Gulf up to Pula to visit the important remains of Nora and see the place where St. Efisio's procession ends. Chance to stop at a local beach. Return to Cagliari.

Day 2 -Saturday 29th April 2023 - Cagliari

Departure after breakfast to Villasimuis along a road with terrific views on the coast and stop at the magnificent beach of Simius. A little walk in Villasimuis and way back to Cagliari. Lunch on your own. Walking visit to Castello district to appreciate the Archaeological museum that displays among others some of the Giants of Monte Prama. Visit the cathedral with its beautiful coloured marbles and the Romanesque pulpit from the 12th century. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 - Sunday 30th April 2023 - Nebida, Iglesias and Barumini

Departure after breakfast to the Western coast and admire the precipitous shore of Nebida and the Natural monument " Pan di Zucchero". Continue to Iglesias for a short visit and carry on to Barumini for lunch. In the afternoon visit the outstanding Nuragic village Su Nuraxi and taste different  honey flavours at a local beekeeper's. Return to Cagliari for dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 4 - Monday 1st May 2023 - St. Efisio in Cagliari

After breakfast get involved in the preparation of the extraordinary procession organized for Saint Efisio: hundreds of people arrive in Cagliari from many different villages dressed with their traditional costume to take part in St. Efisio procession. They thank him to have protected the town from a bad plague that occured in 1656. There are even bleachers to assist to this amazing occasion and enjoy sumptuous handmade coloured gowns and suits or carts pulled by huge oxen and adorned with an great abundance of farming items and flowers. Lunch in a restaurant and time on your own to stroll around Marina, Stampace or Villanova districts.

Day 5 -  Tuesday 2nd May 2023 - Dolianova, Serdiana, Cagliari

Departure after breakfast to visit the charming S. Pantaleo church in Dolianova that displays a splendid altarpiece from the fifteenth century.  Wine tasting at Argiola's winery and return to Cagliari for free time before departure according to scheduled flight.
