During the Winter in many village of Sardinia there are real and proper masks parades linked to the origin of the cycles of death and rebirth of nature and now called Carnival parades. They are fascinating events because they belong to an ancestral world, far from the worldliness.
A group tour in Sardinia with an English speaking local guide organized during the carnival period can be an opportunity to discover different aspects of the Sardinian culture and the immense archaeological and architectural heritage of the Mediterranean island and to share moments of carelessness and tradition: from the Sartiglia of Oristano to the Mamuthones' Parade in Mamoiada, from the fascinating ruins of the ancient city of Tharros to UNESCO archaeological sites and towns in the list of "The most beautiful villages of Italy"
Your guide will take you on tours to iconic places of Sardinia to discover both the famous Nuragic civilization and other archaeological traces of the various people who have stayed there over the centuries. There will also be tastings of local delicious products.
